Project Vovone

Brand Development

Concept: Vovone is a brand created by Yvone, an entrepreneur and designer with a passion for crochet purses and accessories. She has always loved crocheting and needed support in launching her new business venture. I was thrilled to help bring her vision to life and provide the creative direction she needed on this exciting journey.

Why: I am proud to have been part of Yvone’s journey, offering my expertise to help her build a brand that reflects her passion and talent. I provided a complete branding package, empowering her to maintain and manage her social media presence independently in the future. It was a rewarding experience to support her as she embarked on her entrepreneurial path.

The Goal: Yvone, as a new entrepreneur, wanted to introduce her brand to the world through social media and build an e-commerce website. This project was an exciting challenge, as I had the opportunity to work on e-commerce, a new area for me. I embraced the learning process, eager to stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the field.

Process: Yvone’s vision for her brand was clear. She wanted a logo and design that felt elegant, small, and clean, with a color palette she had already chosen. I worked on two versions of the logo and two different background options for her brand. The process was smooth and enjoyable as I worked closely with Yvone to capture the essence of her brand.

Vovone – Brand Development (continued)

Why: The font type I chose perfectly captured the elegance Yvone was looking for, while allowing me to play with the repeated letters in the word “Vovone.” This playful element added a unique touch to the design. The result was a simple yet memorable brand identity that would be easily recognized, while also reflecting the essence of her handmade crochet purses and accessories.

The Goal: The goal was to create a strong, recognizable brand for Yvone’s handmade crochet purses and accessories, alongside a full concept and marketing strategy that would resonate with her target audience. I wanted to build a cohesive brand that aligned with her vision and highlighted the quality and beauty of her handcrafted items.

Process: Yvone had already chosen the brand colors, so I focused on typography and overall design. The name “Vovone” was inspired by Yvone’s nickname for her grandkids, which holds sentimental value, as “Vovone” is derived from “Vovô” (grandma in Portuguese). I felt that the name perfectly represented her nurturing, caring personality—much like a grandmother would, always bringing beauty and taking care of those around her. This personal connection to the name added a meaningful layer to the brand.

Vovone – Business Card and Branding Packages for Purses

Why: Yvone wanted to enhance the branding of her crochet purses by adding a personal touch both inside and outside the purses, while also needing a professional way to share her contact information. This was a crucial step to elevate her business presence and reinforce the brand identity.

The Goal: The goal was to create a memorable, elegant business card and branding elements that could be added to the purses, whether in gold, metal, or fabric. This would allow her to leave a lasting impression on her clients while ensuring her contact details were easily accessible.

Process: I started by designing the business card in Illustrator. Once the logo was finalized, the rest of the design flowed naturally, thanks to the strong concept and cohesive brand elements we established. The challenge was to incorporate the brand onto the purses in a way that would reflect its elegance and charm, using gold, metal, or fabric materials for a luxurious touch. The final designs would complement the handmade nature of the purses while adding a personalized, high-quality element to each piece.

Vovone – E-commerce Website

The Goal: Yvone wanted to establish an online presence where she could sell her crochet purses and accessories. She sought a cost-effective solution to sell directly to her customers, avoiding third-party platforms like Amazon or Etsy.

Process: I developed an e-commerce website using WooCommerce on WordPress, which allowed her to have full control over her online store while keeping costs low. The website was designed to be user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with the brand’s elegant and clean aesthetic. I ensured that the site was easy to navigate, with clear product categories, a simple checkout process, and integrated payment options.

Vovone – Social Media

The Goal: To introduce Vovone and her handmade crochet purses and accessories to as many people as possible through social media platforms.

Process: I designed unique visuals for different social media platforms, setting up profiles with consistent branding, including profile pictures and banners. I also created a continuous big-picture layout for posts, ensuring the visual identity was cohesive across all platforms. I provided Vovone with social media guidelines and tips for posting, empowering her to manage and continue posting independently on the platform she felt most comfortable with. Watching her take charge and share her brand fills my heart with joy!

MockUp

Actually, I’ve known Daniela for a long time. She’s always been an incredible professional—very responsible, mature, and ethical.
She loves helping people and dedicates herself fully to all her projects. Our graphic materials turned out excellent because of her. Daniela is very detail-oriented, which can help you organize all your products and services. She asks questions I would never have thought of, which, in the end, greatly contributes to a successful outcome in visual art and brand identity.
But beyond that, there are no words to truly describe Dani’s work. She does everything with love and care. Her work is outstanding, and you can trust her. Dani used to live here in Brazil, but now she’s in Canada. But if you ever move to China, Dani, I’ll go with you.
I will always follow you, always support you. Without your work, it’s just not the same, you know? A big kiss, and thank you for everything.
