Kiddo Food Project 
Brand
Concept: This is a BCIT Project about Digital Magazines displayed in a different formats. That’s is a Digital Magazine focus on the kids meals and opportunities.
Why: Mom’s and kids are getting to want to learn as early as we used to. So here they can find classes, recipes or information’s about the Kiddo’s food !
The Goal: Instruct and help families, parents or kids to be introduced to the cooking process in a easy and fun way.
Process: It was first created the identity, concept, lot’s of research. Then the Guidlines was created with the logo and I started the Layouts for different formats. It was requested on the formats: Digital Media: Desktop, Tablet and Mobile Versions. lsao was made a mercahndise and layouts for a printed magazine. The cover page and Sp[lit pages. Also there is a Hand out for a Postal Card.

Brand
Concept: Kiddo Food is a digital magazine created as part of a BCIT project, based in Vancouver, focused on engaging kids in the joy of cooking. The magazine aims to bring fun, educational experiences to children by introducing them to cooking with friends and family.
Why: The magazine encourages kids to explore the wonderful world of cooking, fostering creativity, teamwork, and learning. It highlights the experiences that cooking together can bring, helping children discover the joys of food preparation in a fun, social environment.
The Goal: The goal is to guide children to become good eaters by offering simple, practical cooking ideas. It introduces kids to new foods and different cuisines, all while promoting the experience of cooking and preparing meals together with family and friends.
Process: The colors were chosen to reflect the fun, colorful, and adventurous nature of cooking for kids, while keeping the design clean and easy to read. These vibrant colors bring energy and contrast, making the content more appealing. The font was selected to represent a playful, yet bold look, with the flexibility to design unique icons (such as eyes looking at food, like a fried egg) to add personality to the magazine.

Kiddo Food is a vibrant, kid-friendly digital magazine transformed into a print version, focusing on educating young readers about cooking. This edition features a Magazine Cover and three examples of Split Pages Magazine. The goal is to inspire kids to learn how to cook, explore new cuisines, and create lasting memories with family.
Why:
The magazine aims to introduce children to the world of food through fun, practical, and easy-to-follow content. The split pages allow for visual storytelling, making the cooking experience engaging and educational.
The Goal:
To provide simple, fun, and accessible content about food and cooking, helping children to become good eaters while learning new recipes and techniques. The split pages format offers a unique, engaging way to present recipes, chef stories, and cooking classes, making it perfect for kids and families.
Process:
For the print version, I focused on creating a lively and clean design, with bold fonts and vibrant colors. The magazine cover sets the tone for the playful, educational content, while the three split pages showcase the diversity of food content, from chefs to recipes and interactive classes. Each page was carefully crafted in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, ensuring that both the design and content were kid-friendly and easy to understand.

Why: The idea was to create a digital magazine featuring three main “stories”: a cuisine chef, a recipe, and cooking classes. Each section is designed with split pages to keep the content engaging and accessible for young readers.
The Goal: The goal is to help children become good eaters by offering simple, practical ideas for cooking. It introduces them to new foods, encourages them to try different cuisines, and provides great experiences in cooking and preparing meals together with family and friends.
Process: The design was done using Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Research was conducted to find themes and real content, which was then simulated in a layout resembling a real magazine. The design reflects fun, practicality, and educational value, guiding children in their culinary journeys.
