The Joy in You
A personal project that brings joy to the world.
Concept: Creating the visual identity for The Joy in You was a truly special experience. It wasn’t just about designing something visually appealing; it was about bringing a vision to life that came from the heart. Every idea, every design, every graphic element was inspired by my desire to spread joy. The whole process felt natural, and it’s something I’m passionate about. The layout for social media posts, as well as the entire concept of The Joy in You, was crafted with love and care. It was fun to even create a video to explain the project and its mission. I truly enjoyed investing my time into a project that’s so close to my heart – spreading joy around the world. It’s a journey I want to continue, reaching as many people as I can and helping them fill their days with joy that sparks in their hearts.
Why: The Joy in You was created as a personal project, driven by my passion for helping people feel good about their day, about themselves, and about the world around them. It’s about encouraging positivity and uplifting others, one message at a time. This was always something I wanted to do, and now that I’ve started, I know I’ll continue to put my time into it. Every piece created for this project reflects my deep desire to share joy and kindness with the world.
The Goal: The ultimate goal of The Joy in You is to reach as many people as possible, to spread joy across the globe, and help people feel better about their day and themselves. I want to inspire others to smile more, to feel lighter, and to find reasons to be happy in even the smallest of moments.
Process: The process began with creating the brand identity. It was important to do a lot of research to ensure that the brand would connect emotionally with others. Once we finalized the typography, colors, and style, I was able to move forward with designing the logo, business cards, and website. I also created social media materials for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube. It was a complete package, designed to bring joy to people wherever they are.
Pieces Created
Branding: The logo, typography, and color palette were designed to be warm, inviting, and joyful. Each element was chosen to represent happiness and positivity.
Business Card: A beautifully simple business card that mirrors the joyful message behind the brand.
Brand Packages: These were designed to ensure consistent branding across all platforms.
Website: A clean, responsive website built on WordPress, where visitors can learn more about the project and explore content that uplifts them.
Social Media: Engaging social media posts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube – all designed to spread positivity and inspire joy.
Videos: I created video content using Premiere and After Effects to bring the brand’s message to life in a more dynamic and engaging way.
Software Used
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop: For logo and branding design, as well as creating social media graphics.
Premiere and After Effects: For video production and motion graphics to visually communicate the brand’s message.
Mailchimp: For email marketing, ensuring that the brand’s joyful message reaches as many people as possible.
WordPress: For developing the website and ensuring it’s user-friendly, engaging, and visually aligned with the brand’s mission.
The Joy in You is a project that I will continue to nurture, and I am excited to see how it grows. It’s a reminder that even small moments of joy can have a huge impact, and I’m committed to spreading that joy far and wide.
Brand Style Guide
For The Joy in You project, the goal was to create a visual identity that spread positive messages and helped people feel good about themselves. Here’s an overview of the pieces I created:
Branding (Logo, Typography, Colors):
- Logo: The logo was designed to reflect the essence of joy, with elements that are uplifting and inspiring. The design features soft, fluid shapes and bright colors to evoke happiness and positivity. It was crafted to be adaptable for both print and digital formats, making it versatile across various platforms.
- Typography: I chose a playful yet professional typeface that could convey a sense of warmth, friendliness, and approachability. It needed to feel welcoming and joyful, matching the project’s mission to spread joy.
- Colors: The color palette was intentionally chosen to include vibrant, cheerful colors like yellow, light pink, and soft blues. These colors are associated with happiness, calm, and hope, aligning with the core message of the brand.

Why: After some sketches I realize about the similarity of the words Joy and You and I could play to mirror them. What reflects perfeclty the idea of mirroring yourself, that the help you need is on you. So Joy reflects the word You. ♡
The Goal: To create a logo that will reflect YOU. As you have the power to change or find your Joy. It is on You. And motivate people to tune with that.
Process: The colors were chosen by the concept of fun, colorful, adventurous, clean. The red, blue and green are the main colors and I added yellow for come components to break the colors and it brings energy. The font type was chosen to reflect this 2 words together (You and Joy) to combine as much possible and have that effect of mirror.
Software: Adobe Illustrator.
Graphic Design / Print format
Business Card and Magnetic Buttons with Affirmative Messages
The business card design mirrored the brand’s playful and positive tone. It featured the logo prominently, with contact details and a simple, clean layout to make a lasting impression. The back of the card had a joyful tagline or message, reinforcing the brand’s mission. The colors and typography were consistent with the overall brand identity.
The Packages to Sell Magnetic Buttons with Affirmative Messages were created as a way to offer clients and friends a unique and meaningful gift. By combining my passion for arts and crafts with a desire to spread positivity, I designed and crafted magnetic buttons featuring motivational messages. Each button was digitally created in Adobe Illustrator, printed, cut, and glued onto the magnets, then carefully packaged with my business card. The final product was wrapped in plastic to present a thoughtful and uplifting gift that could brighten someone’s day.

Process: The video was edited in Adobe Premiere, where I brought all the visual elements together. I treated the images in Photoshop to ensure they fit perfectly with the video’s mood, and I also created some custom illustrations using Adobe Illustrator.

The Joy in You – Personal Project
My goal in this personal project is to create another space to spread joy, positive vibrations, affirmations, and motivational messages through the identity of The Joy in You. I aim to inspire and uplift through every design element I create, from layouts and configurations to media choices, while keeping the consistency and clarity of the overall message.
This project reflects what I love to do and represent—creating designs that carry positive messages to brighten people’s day. I enjoy crafting visual elements that work harmoniously with uplifting content, ensuring each piece speaks to the heart.
Posting on social media has been a fun and rewarding experience. Every week, I had the opportunity to create something unique, combining meaningful messages into larger visuals. I also had a great time honing my skills by creating videos in Adobe Premiere, adding a dynamic touch to the project.
Looking ahead, I plan to take this project a step further by printing these designs on metal, creating tangible pieces of art that can inspire people in new ways.
” I like the chance to join a project at the planning stage and be able to develop the whole aspects of visual communication as well as my clients’ branding across many platforms and media. ” Daniela
